Stained Glass Arch

Stamps used....Wanhopige Man from the  Mannen 1 Plate, the words are also from this set.
The cogs and wheels are from the Nuts and Bolts set.

Sorry for the late post.
Today I am sharing with you an arch that I made yesterday In a class with Helen Chilton.
I have used a Tando Creative arch and Pebeo glass paints.
Whanhopige Man was stamped onto acetate, I painted the back of the acetate to give him some colour and the rest of the acetate was coloured with different coloured glass paints, the texture comes from sticking a sheet of tissue paper to the back whilst the paint was still wet.
The frame was given a gesso coat and stamped with the cogs. The paints are translucent and have been applied over the top.

thank you for stopping by and I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Totally fabulous - already said how I love the contrast between the colours and the image, and I also love the glossy transparency of the acetate - a brilliant make, Mark!

Such a great technique with the acetate but have never tried it with glass paints. The colours are beautiful and love the result! Anne x

Very nice work. Fine bright colors, although the man is desperate it is a fun piece of art.
