Steam Punk Tag

Welcome back and happy Sunday.I hope you are all well. It is my turn again and today I have a Steam Punk tag and with Farthers day coming up in the uk maybe it's a nice idea to make something other than a card?
I started by cutting a tag from the Tim Holtz tag die and running it through one of his embossing folders. I then painted it with Decoart acrylic paints using one of Andy Skinners time worn techniques to give a copper patina finish.
I stamped Man With Ooglap with blackstayzon ink onto acetate, the other images were also stamped using stayzon ink.
I cut a second tag and then carefully cut the middle out to leave a frame, I used some half pearls to act as rivets and cut some cogs to fit the corners. They were then given a quick rust finish again using Decoart acrylic paints.
The washers were added for a bit of contrast as were the Roman Numerals.

Thanks for stopping by, It is great to have you here and remember to check back tomorrow for something new from our DT. x
