A simple Summer tag

Stamps used are from the Flower Silhouettes 2 set
and the Life is from Dyan Reavely set Word Love

Its my turn again and today I have a simple Summer tag, over here in the UK we have had our first really nice week weather wise and the feeling that summer is nearly here at last can finally make us smile a little ;)
My tag is made from a a piece of glossy card stock that has been swiped through a mix of yellow and red Pebeo glass paints. The end result is a beautiful rich colour with translucent qualities. I liked the look and colour of the tag so much I decided to keep the design very simple. I stamped all the images with Embossing ink and then used fine black embossing powder to add a little texture.
I really like how the Alium Stamp almost looks like fire works going off.
 Thank you for stopping by,xx

  1. The background colours are really vibrant, and the allium pops out really nice.
The weather is about the same here in The Netherlands, let's hope it will stay warm. There will be some rain this week, but as long as temperatures don't go down that's OK. :-))
