Old rusty box.

Well to be honest its not old but hopefully now looks it.
I embossed foil tape, covered the box, painted it black, gave a dry coat of dark brown with a bit of sand in it, added some corner braces that i'd already painted.
Then i lightly rubbed it over with some fine grade steel wool before giving it a liberal rub with ORIGINAL RUST.
The centre piece on the top has had the same treatment then crackle glazed to give it that worn look.

Goed gemaakt zeg! It sure does look old, like some treasure you found hidden on the attick or in an old barn. I hadn't heard from Original Rust before, it sure looks very real! It makes me expect to see old things inside as well. Memories, letters, items...
groetjes,

Wow, it looks really old like as if it had been lying in the ocean for ages and now all we have to do is figure out how to open it to access the treasures hidden inside. I get slightly carried away here, lol!
