fanfold mini album

Hi all, it's me, Suzanne, sharing a fanfold mini album this Sunday.
I purchased a blank little album a long time ago and unearthed it these days.

supplies
stamps
from plate writing letters NSPL107
Leonardo da Vinci PLATECP02
backgrounds 3  PLATESW170
backgrounds 4 PLATESW171
clockface CP D150

embossing powder clear 432100
distress paint rusty hinge TH-TDD36432
picket fence TH-TDD36425
and broken china TH-TDD36319
distress ink pads rusty hinge
antique linen and
versamark ink pad TS-VM001
StazOn ink pad timber brown
TH stencils bubbles and stripes
ink blending tool RI-IBT40965

First I primed the cardboard covers of the mini album with a layer of gesso and pressed a piece of corrugated cardboard into it to create a pattern. Then I dabbed distress paint broken china, rusty hinge, and picket fence on my craft sheet, sprayed it with water and pressed the booklet into it.

I heat embossed the image from the Leonardo da Vinci plate (above right) with clear powder mixed with walnut stain and vintage photo embossing powder. The second image in the center has just been stamped with stazon timber brown. Finally I added some stamp images (listed above) to the background and dabbed some distress paint through the bubble stencil. Another image from the da Vinvi plate was stamped on the back cover. I blended a little distress ink antique linen inbetween the paint so that the contrast with the white gesso wouldn't be so sharp.
I used the same technique, but with distress ink pads, on the inside pages of the mini album:

Random parts of the images listed above were stamped on the background and I sponged through the stripes and the bubbles stencil.
You can see how the paints and ink pad colours differ from each other :-)

Thanks so very much for taking the time to stop by today. Be assured your visit is highly appreciated.
Have a great day everyone.

Hugs, Suzanne xx
