Steampunk money box.

Hello again,
it's the dragons turn today to share a stamped project.
Again I have been playing with clay and ORIGINAL RUST.
This started life as a basic square untreated wooden money box.
I rolled out my clay quite thinly and roughly cut to size...allowing for shrinkage on drying.
I stamped into the clay with various cogs and clocks.
Once the clay was baked i adhered it to the box with a mix of wood filler and PVA glue.
I cut the hole in the top once it was dry and sanded it down smooth, as well as trimming the box edges.
I used black and brown acrylic paint, then generous amounts of ORIGINAL RUST.
I am quite pleased with the amount of detail on the box top from the very fine detailed  MOVEMENT stamp.
Something like this would make a nice present for a boy.... and encourage them to save their pocket money...maybe?

SMALL COGS SW F12063
CLOCKFACE  N4606NS
MOVEMENTS SW T12064

Thank you for stopping by... there will be another project from another designer tomorrow.

A very nice present indeed. Who would not like to save his money in a moneybox like this?
