off to Mekka ...

Hello alll,
it's Suzanne here, sharing an altered cork tablet.

supplies used
stamps
from plate 167 large men PLATESW167
script stamp from plate 107 writing letters NSPL107
plate 168 large numbers PLATESW168

various distress paints
self carved stamps
multi medium matte CH-HSP24927
gesso

This has been a breakfast tablet once.
First I covered it with gesso and applied various distress paint with a sponge. Then I used an alphabet from a calligraphy book and transferred it to the background, coloured in with distress paint again and outlined with black pen.
The man and the numbers were stamped separately onto tissue paper and adhered with multi medium matte. In the end I stamped areas of the script stamp and sponged the edges with stazon brown timber.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I'm off to the Mekka stamp fair now ...
Have a great weekend everyone,
hugs, Suzanne xxx

Flying over Stempelmekka is a great idea, you get to see more that way! So many people on Saturday, and so great to be there and meet everybody again.
Nice to speak to you in person, Suzanne, thanks again for coming to Stempelmekka!
