Vintage Botanical ATC's

Stamps Used:
All the Botanical Stamps are from Microscopic Artforms PlateSW89
The Text is Background French Text SW S14011

Morning all, Mark here and I am still feeling the Spring mood so I decided to make a set of four Vintage Botanical ATC's. I used the Tim Holtz ATC die and cut my ATC's from mount board. They were base coated with white acrylic paint and washes of Decort's media fluids were added to give the aged look. I stamped the script in Sepia Archival ink.
The Botanical images were stamped using Black Archival ink.
I used Satin varnish to seal the ATC's and once dry added a layer of Decoart's Media Crackle Glaze, It's important to seal the surface you are working on if you plan to use a crackle glaze, if you don't you may not get any cracks form. It is also important not to use a heat gun to dry the crackle glaze, just set it to one side to dry naturally.
Once it had dried I used Decoart's media antiquing cream raw umber to pick out the cracks.
Thanks for stopping by. xx

Oh wow Mark these are so beautiful, as always the crackle background highlights the black stamped images so they pop off the ATC's :-) x
