Guardian Angel

Hi all, Suzanne here, shariing a mixed media panel with transfer technique on a self adhesive plastic sheet.

supplies
stamps
angel wings CP R503

others
gesso 3024-32314
original rust OR100G
stazon jet black
matte medium CH-HSP24927
butterscotch
decoart media chrackle paste DMM17
decoart ultra matte varnish DMM24-71
versamark inkpad TS-VM001
antiquing cream carbon black DMM150-26
acrylic paints

This started as a panel that once was the backing of a photo frame. I primed it with gesso and added crackle paint all over after glueing down the image transfer. When dry I added a layer of acrylic paint, green blue and turquoise, followed by antiquing cream carbon black.
While I wiped back the antiquing cream I left kind of a blurred black border around the edges.
The letters are from wood, primed with gesso, rubbed with original rust, sealed with matte varnish and sponged with stazon black.

The wings were heat embossed with black detail ep, coloures with bluegreen acrylic paint, wiped back and painted with metallic paint copper.
The small label was die cut with the resp. die, once from paper, once from an acrylic sheet. The latter was 'coloured' with AAI butterscotch.
Finally I assembled everything and added a heat embossed border.

Thanks so much for looking.
It you can spare the time please pay a visit to our de stempelwinkel stampers challenge and give it a try; there's always a chance to win something :-)

Hugs, Suzanne xx
