my new toy

Hi all ...
Jetske has a new toy in stock which I had to have - and not only me, it went quite fast at the stamp fair :-)
It's the 'Heat Wave Tool'.

I played around a bit and came up with a simple card for starters.

supplies used:
Heat Wave Tool starter kit
versamark embossing ink pad  TS-VM001
embossing powder gold 432101
decoart media interference paint green DMFA103
gold DMFA100
and turqoise DMFA105
circle die
stencil

First I sponged the interference paint on a sheet of black paper and die cut the circles. On those I used the Heat Wave Tool with gold foil and a stencil. The tool gets quite hot and you can use it like a pen.
A bit of embossing powder was sprinkled on another piece of black paper and the circles added.
Sadly the golden lines look a bit wonky still, but with so many things it's just practise, practise, practise ... :-D It's a pity that the foto doesn't show the interference paint like it really is.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, your visit is much appreciated.
Have a great day everyone ...

Hugs, Suzanne xx

A wonderful idea, this way you can make a perfect Christmascard without using Christmas images.
Endless possibilities with the heatwave pen, new stock will come next week!

Very nice example for the use of the pen and the paint. Good job.
