We hope that you'll continue to enjoy the projects we create during this last week of this
month long blog hop, stopping by daily to see what we,
the design team create every day with the
wonderful selection of stamps that DE-STEMPELWINKEL
have in store.
We hope you have enjoyed your visits here and will continue to pop in now and again when this hop is over.
Today is DAY # 28 and we have MARK'S last project of this hop.

Stamps Used:

The Skeleton is from Halloween 1 Plate 119
The Barbed wire is from Hardware Findings Plate 159

Morning all, Mark here and ok, well I lied, I'm back and this is my last piece for the 31 Days Of Halloween Blog hop, Somehow I lost a week. Anyways today I  have painted a wooden 6x6 canvas.
I have used Decoart Media Fluids and Misters as well as a couple of stencils.
The praying skeleton fit perfectly in the bottom corner and the scale really helps add depth to the canvas. He usually forms part of a duo of skeletons but I masked the other one off when inking my stamp.
I stamped first with Opaque White Stazon and re stamped over the top with black archival, this has given the skeleton the highlights that are very subtle.
The Barbed Wire was also stamped with White Stazon to the edge of the Canvas.
The edges were distressed with black archival ink and the whole canvas was given a coat of Matt Varnish.

Many thanks for stopping by today,
see you tomorrow with a project for DAY #29 made by another designer.

I love the way you stamped the skeleton, black over white. It's giving the skeleton the highlights it needs, and in a better way than colouring it with a white gelly pen. The barbed wire parts on the sides of the canvas are giving it the right "feeling".
