Bark effect.

Today I have something a little different to show you.
Its not really a stamping project.... more of an effect
you can get with a stamp and some clay.
I wanted something decorative for the shed extension....
so after some thought came up with a skull design.
I cut it from weather proof board... covered it with clay and used a background stamp
to give it the texture of bark.
It is much browner than these photos show...
 Its about 16 inch circle.....
Here it is in situ...just under the unfinished eaves.....
the shed is an on going project.... think it'll never end!
STAMP USED....
CRACKLED PAINT CP S567

Thanks for stopping by today....
see you next Friday. BDx

This ornament shows that you can use stamps in different ways, not always to make cards. This stamp in particular is very good for making effects like this.
Looks great on the shed!
