Now that the weather is getting colder, all the birds have flown,
but my little rusted bird cage isnt empty.....
...its become the winter abode of 8 little dragons.
Some like to fly around the outside of their comfortable new home....
some like to just sit outside and admire the view...
some like to sit inside amongst the flora and fauna,
whilst others just like to sleep....
....one little fella just likes to curl up behind a stone, nice and quietly by himself....

I used a BIGZ die and cut 5 of the cages..... 4 of them i joined together to form a square cage, with a piece of card for the base. I cut the 3 centre 'rungs' from one of the cage sides, using the 5th die cut i made a door and added the 'rungs' i had removed from the cage i made a lattice effect on the door.
I attached the door with jump rings so it opens and closes.
The cage is painted with distress paints with a little ORIGINAL RUST added for that weather-worn look.
Inside i put some tree bark, moss, dried flowers and some small stones.
The little dragons are all coloured with promarkers and fussy cut.
