Preparing for Christmas

Everybody seems to be preparing for Christmas, one way or another....

shopping for gifts, deciding on the Christmas menu,

putting up the decorations...

 These little guys have such great fun getting everything un-packed.....

 ....... even taking time to play in the snow....

 .... poor little fellow below has been so busy decorating the tree that his hip is now hurting.....

''give it a rub... it'll be ok''.

I used an old tuna tin for the 'critters' home, on a thick card base.

Painted both black.... used lots of 'found' items...including tree bark, &dried grass.

Bits and pieces from my Christmas stash box.... made tiny little boxes for the 'critters'' decorations....

stamped and coloured loads of leaves to line the tin....

 they need somewhere warm and dry to sleep at night :)

..... finally added plenty of fake snow, icicles and snow-balls.

Its all just a bit of daftness to keep my little neice amused..... and my Dad.
