mail art

Good morning everyone out there ...
So very sorry I'm late :-( got the date wrong *arrrrgh*

I have a bit of mail art to share today.

thinking N3703NS
ink bottle and pen CP Q474
ink splatter CP E182
leaves from Dyan Reaveley's Around the Edge DR

book page from an old encyclopedia
Tim Holtz stencil bubble
water-soluble wax crayons
gelli printing plate
sharpie writing pen black 1742663

For the envelope I made a template from cardboard some time ago. Once cut out I used various distress ink pads and stencils on my gelli printing plate (first a piece of paper was glued down loosely to protect the address area). Then I stamped the images, the woman (stamped separately and fuzzy cut) was colored with watercolor, the leaves with the wax crayons and the book page was sponged with distress ink vintage photo and walnut stain.
At last I outlined the rectangle with a black sharpie pen and sponged the edges of the envelope with a little walnut stain.
That's it :-)

Thank you so very much for stopping by and having a look.
Hugs, Suzanne xx

It's lovely! But dangerous to send, there are mail deliverers who take mail like this home, and never deliver it... It would be a real pleasure to find something this beautiful in your mailbox!
